Personnel

Dr. Keith Mueller (director of the Nebraska Center) leads faculty investigators, research associates, and health data analysts in rural health research and policy analysis studies.

Center investigators include: Dr. Li-Wu Chen, Dr. Preethy Nayar, Dr. Mike Shambaugh-Miller, and Dr. Hongmei Wang. Faculty investigators have education and experience in health administration, health finance, health economics, rural primary care, medical geography, and program evaluation.

Research associates and health data analysts include Michelle Mason, Sara Roberts, Kelly Shaw-Sutherland, Anne Skinner, Nicole VanOsdel, Liyan Xu, and Wanqing Zhang; their education and experience is in public health, statistics, health education, sociology, public administration, geography, and health information management.


Center Director
Dr. Keith Mueller is Associate Dean, Department Chair, and Professor in the College of Public Health, Department of Health Services Research and Administration, UNMC. He is also the Director of the RUPRI Center for Rural Health Policy Analysis.
