Patient Care

UNMC students manage several clinics offering free and low-cost health care.

"Everyone I have met here is so caring, patient and helpful in a very professional way. I feel very comfortable coming here to see the student doctors."

– SHARING patient

The UNMC SHARING clinics provide high-quality, low-cost health care and human services to those in need. In a multidisciplinary educational setting, the SHARING clinics empower patients and instill the values of service and compassion in UNMC students.

The SHARING organization oversees four clinics in the Omaha area: SHARING, RESPECT, GOODLIFE and VISION. The UNMC SHARING Clinic is also partnered with a dental clinic in Lincoln.

The GOODLIFE clinic currently is closed. Eligible patients may be seen in the SHARING clinic.
