Sorrell Center Public Open House
More than 200 people attended Sunday's open house for the newly opened Michael F. Sorrell Center for Health Science Education. The new home for the College of Medicine was a huge hit for the members of the public who toured the center on Sunday, June 29. The event drew members of the public who have watched the construction and anxiously awaited a chance to see it. It also drew retirees, employees and their families, UNMC students and prospective students who were in awe of the educational environment that the new facility provides.
