The Sorrell Center is “the flagship of classroom technology,” said Max Thacker, associate director of information technology services at UNMC.  Although home to the College of Medicine, the building will serve students across a variety of disciplines including nursing, allied health and pharmacy. The Sorrell Center is the first building on the UNMC campus to be constructed with wireless networking throughout the building. Among the building's technology highlights are:
