Q. I would like to take classes at another University of Nebraska campus while attending UNMC. Can I receive financial aid for the costs associated with those classes?
It depends. The UNMC Financial Aid Office requires the classes taken at another U of NE campus be required by your academic program. We will adjust your costs and financial aid (within federal regulation limitations) to assist you with the payment of classes taken at another U of NE campus.
Q. I would like to take classes at another university/college. Will UNMC assist me with those costs?
Financial Aid is awarded for those classes attempted at UNMC or U of NE campuses only. The Financial Aid Office will not adjust your budget or financial aid to attempt classes at another university or college.
