“Prepared Kids: First Aid Training for Elementary School Children”

If you came upon an emergency, would you know what to do? Would you like to learn how to help?
You're never too young to be prepared with the knowledge and skills to save a life.
The UNMC Youth Learning Center - “Prepared Kids: First Aid Training for Elementary School Children” will provide1st through 6th graders with the skills to handle:
- Minor wound care
- Severe bleeding
- Injuries to muscles, bones, and joints
- Minor Burns
Participants/Parents will be required to complete an application form and permission slip for this 90 minute training.
Two training times are available:
- 9:30 - 11:00 am
- 1:00 - 2:30 pm
Students select the one session that works best for them. Applications are accepted on a first come, first served basis.
Training is free, students are asked to bring several non-perishable food items with them to donate to those in need!
Sessions will be held at the Storz Pavillion, in the Clarkson Tower, 44th and Dewey. Additional information will be provided once the application has been received.
