 If you came upon an emergency, would you know what to do?  Would you like to learn how to save a life? 

The UNMC Youth Learning Center - “Teen-Learn to Save a Life Day” will provide youth between the ages of 11-18 with the skills to recognize potential life threatening emergencies, how to confidently respond to them, and how to provide life saving skills to individuals in distress.  Participants will be required to complete an application form for this 1 hour training program and submit a signed permission slip.  

Several training times are available to choose from.  Students select one session that works best for them.  Applications are accepted on a first come, first served basis.

Training Sessions that are available:

9:00 – 10:00 a.m.

10:30 – 11:30 a.m.

1:00 – 2:00 p.m.

2:30 – 3:30 p.m.

Training is free, students are asked to bring several non-perishable food items with them to donate to the Omaha Food Bank!  

Sessions will be held at the Storz Pavillion, in the Clarkson Tower, 44th and Dewey.  Additional information will be provided once the application has been received.
