Information Sessions on Bariatric Surgery at UNMC

Our information sessions are an opportunity for our patients to learn more about surgical options of weight loss, and provide mutual support for patients before and after surgery. We welcome patients at all stages of information about the surgery and all patients who have had weight loss surgery. We hope you will bring your family and friends so that they can learn more about your decisions regarding weight loss surgery and help support you after surgery

We meet the 2nd Thursday of each month from 6-8 p.m.

This session is required for all patients considering weight loss surgery and must be attended before an initial appointment can be scheduled with your physician.
