The patient above underwent a breast reduction using the inferior pedicle technique. The before pictures are on the left and the after pictures taken approximately one year later show an excellent postoperative result. |

This patient also underwent a breast reduction using an inferior pedicle technique. The preoperative photos are on the left, and the postoperative photos 6 weeks later are on the right. Because the "after" pictures are taken early (6 weeks) the scars are still red. Over the course of several months the scars will fade and be almost imperctible. The quality of the scar often depends on the individual scarring characteristics of the patient. |
