Preoperative Photo (upper left) demonstrates the patients inability to completely extend his little finger. This patient had great difficulty using this hand because of the ianability to extend the finger and "get it out of the way" for grasping objects, etc. The intraoperative photo (upper right) demonstrates the fibrous cord that is responsible for the contracted finger. The fibrous cord is being surgically removed (lower left). Finally, the patient is seem postoperatively (lower right) with excellent ability to fully extend the small finger.
