A calendar is published monthly from the Division of Neurosurgery which details all conferences, their dates, times and locations. Residents are encouraged to attend all conferences.
The conferences include:
- Neurosurgical weekly staffing conference at UNMC
- Neuropathological/Brain Cutting at UNMC twice a month
- Neurologic Tumor Board Conference weekly at UNMC
- Neurologic Tumor Board Conference at Methodist/Children's monthly
- Neurologic Grand Rounds bi-weekly at UNMC and Methodist/Children's
- Neuroradiology/Neuroanatomy Conference held weekly at UNMC
- Neuroscience Research Seminars TBA at UNMC
- Neurosurgery Morbidity and Mortality and Quality Assurance held monthly at Methodist
- General Neurosurgery Conference held on the fifth Wednesday of the month at UNMC
The residents are provided semi-annual visiting professorships at UNMC in the spring and Methodist/Children's in the fall each year.
