Nurse: Heather Carson, R.N., B.S.N.
Dr. LaGrange joined the Division of Urologic Surgery as an Assistant Professor on July 1, 2008, following completion of a two year Endourology Fellowship at the University of Kentucky.
Dr. LaGrange's focus is on minimally invasive surgery. He performs both standard laparoscopic and robot-assisted laparoscopic prostatectomy. This technique is now being used at the Omaha Veterans Affair Hospital, as well, where veterans now have laparoscopic radical prostatectomy as a treatment option. This adds further valuable laparoscopic exposure to the residents' training experience. He also participates in the Multidisciplinary Genitourinary Oncology Clinic.
His research interests include laparoscopic simulation, training, and education, as well as laparoscopic technology.
Dr. LaGrange earned his B.A. and M.D. degrees from the University of Missouri-Kansas City. He completed his General Surgery Internship and Urology Residency at the University of Kentucky. Both he and his family are happy to be back in the Midwest.
