This patient had a moderate sized basal carcinoma at the tip of his nose. Following removal of the skin cancer he was left with a fairly large defect involving the nasal tip. This was reconstructed using adjacent tissue called a bilobed flap. The postoperative photo on the right demonstrates successful reconstruction and healing six weeks later.

This patient had a squamous cell carcinoma of the ear that was removed resulting in a defect of the ear. The defect was reconstructed with bilateral chondocutaneous (skin-cartilage) flaps.
