A clear liquid diet includes any liquid that you can see through. Also included are coffee, tea and dark soda pop. Some examples are: fruit juice, chicken or beef broth, Sprite, 7-Up and jello. No milk or milk products and of course, no solid food.

Take 1 ½ ounces of Fleets Phosphosoda in 8 oz of 7-Up
You may continue to drink the clear liquids after taking the laxative. You cannot have anything to eat or drink after midnight the night before your test.
