Dr. Larry Siref is an assistant professor in the Section of Urologic Surgery, Department of Surgery, at the University of Nebraska Medical Center (UNMC), Omaha and is the Residency Director for the Urologic Surgery Residency Program.  In addition to administering patient care at UNMC, Dr. Siref conducts a busy private practice with clinics and surgeries at Methodist Hospital, Children's Hospital, Alegent Health Bergan Mercy, and Alegent Health Immanuel Medical Center.  He is also affiliated with Falls City Community Hospital, Falls City, Nebraska, St. Francis Memorial Hospital, West Point, Nebraska, and Memorial Community Hospital, Blair, Nebraska.

 

Dr. Siref is a general urologist, recognized for his compassionate manner and talents in the diagnosis and treatment of problems associated with male infertility, vasectomy and vasovasostomy.

 

An alumnus of the University of Nebraska College of Medicine, Dr. Siref is a patient educator of residents.  He completed his Surgery internship and his Urology residency at Mayo Clinic, Rochester.  He was in private practice and served as chair of the Section of Urology at Mount Sinai Hospital, in Milwaukee, prior to relocating to Omaha in 1991.

 

Dr. Siref is active in professional associations, including the American Medical Association, American Association of Clinical Urologists, Nebraska Medical Association, Nebraska Urological Association, and Metro Omaha Medical Society.
