  • The Hampton University Museum is the oldest museum in the United States and one of the oldest museums in Virginia. The museum has holdings of more than 9,000 objects, including traditional art from Africa, Native America, Asia and Oceania; African-American fine arts; and artifacts depicting the university’s history.
