Work Experience:
2010-2011: worked in partnership with Dr. Christopher Chase of South Dakota State University investigating the effects of BVD (bovine viral diarrhea) in fetal development of cattle.
2010-2012: Internship/Technician with Novartis, Animal Health, Larchwood IA. Research and Development, Vaccines.
Awards/Achievements:
Barb joined our group in July of 2012. She studies the role of Jak/Stat and PI3K/Akt signaling in mammary epithelial cells. In 2012, Barb was awarded a fellowship through the UNMC Cancer Research Training Program (CRTP).
