Awards/Achievements:
‘Dean’s List” Award for outstanding performance in undergraduate studies. From the beginning of July of 2012, Nirakar is supported through the UNMC Graduate Studies Office on a Research Assistantship.
Nirakar joined our group in January of 2011. He plans to develop a novel pancreatic cancer model that allows the study of genes during cancer initiation and progression. Starting 2012, Nirakar is supported through the UNMC Graduate Studies Office on a Research Assistantship.
