Service Project(s)

  1. Increase SIG membership by 10% to promote the appropriate use of educational technology
  2. Creation of a tool/ diagram to identify UNMC educational technology tools, identified outcomes and exemplary examples.


ETC members are reviewing education technology and active learning tools for the 2017 SIG Service Project. The deadline for all completed reviews is June 1, 2017. The entire service project will be submitted to the IAE by June 30, 2017.

Task #1: (if you have already selected a tool > Skip to Task #2):

  1. Click on the link below to review and choose a tool(s) you will review (requires login with NetID/ password):
  2. Once you have logged into Office365, Click the “Selectiontool2017.xlsx” link
  3. Click “Edit Workbook” (located in the upper right-hand corner)
  4. Click “Edit in Browser” from the drop-down menu
  5. Click the desired row and column and input your name next to the tool that you would like to select. If you would like to work collaboratively with another individual on the same tool; input your name in row “C” – “Second Reviewer”
  6. Close the browser

Task #2:  Please use the supplied worksheet as a working document. The final data should be submitted via the online form (Task#3) and can only be submitted once.

  1. Click on the link below to open the Education Tool Worksheet (requires login with NetID/ password):
  2. Click the “…” located in the upper right-hand corner
  3. Click “Download”
  4. Click “Save as”
    Select a location to save the file
  5. Input compiled information / data

Task #3:

  1. Reference the completed Education Tool Worksheet (saved on your own storage area)
  2. Prior to June 1, 2017, copy and paste your review findings into the Reference the online Education Tool Review form:
