[AUDIO LOGO] [MUSIC PLAYING] SIDNEY TRENHAILE: The MLS program through UNMC is basically a year program. You have a summer student labs where you're at either Omaha or Kearney, and you work with instructors to learn things before you get out into the real world. And then you have two semesters of rotations where you're in a real hospital practicing with actual patients, and it's just a really great way to learn. TYLER HOUSH: The faculty teaches us everything we need to know about interviewing for jobs, applying for jobs, how to write resumes and cover letters and CVs. So that really just-- I felt like, put me one step above any competition that I would have had to have. SIDNEY TRENHAILE: The UNMC program has prepared me for my future career in a lot of different ways. Or they tell you what to expect in the career, and also they give you all the tools that you need to achieve that. And again, just the support that they provide is outstanding. Being in Kearney, there was the concern that I wouldn't have as much support just because a lot of it's distance learning. But from day one, every single one of the faculty members has been like, if have any problems whatsoever, feel free to reach out. They're always making sure that we were attended to and that if we needed help at all, that they were there for us. LINSEY DONNER: I believe that UNMC has fostered my journey and my career. They've supported me as a student and as faculty, as a professional, and I just think it's a wonderful place to be. [AUDIO LOGO]
