The College of Allied Health Professions at the University of Nebraska Medical Center is guided by foundational principles that are key to the overall culture of the college including diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging.
In 2020, the College created the Diversity, Equity, Inclusion and Belonging Committee (formerly known as the Diversity and Inclusion Committee). This committee represents college faculty and staff who work in partnership with college administration to provide guidance and oversight to the various work and priorities related to diversity, equity, inclusion and belonging in the college.

- Our college promotes a space of inclusion by creating consistent opportunities for members to engage in meaningful connection that increases awareness, content knowledge, cognitive sophistication, and empathic understanding of the complex ways individuals interact.
