The tuition rate for the Master of Respiratory Care Degree Advancement Option has been submitted to the University of Nebraska Board of Regents for approval and will be determined in June 2024. See the UNMC catalog for current fees. (Applicable fees include Online Course Fee, Library Fee, CAHP Technology Fee, and Student Access & Success Fee.)

We are pleased to offer a 25% tuition discount for the 2024-2025 academic year. After this academic year, we will return to our regular online rate for both our resident and non-resident students. Remember that all of our online learners pay the same affordable rate regardless of residency status – a rate significantly lower than other master’s level respiratory care degree advancement programs.

Tuition and fees are subject to change, as determined by the University of Nebraska Board of Regents.

Financial Assistance

Students enrolled in this program can be full-time or part-time students. Master of Respiratory Care Degree Advancement Option students may be eligible for financial aid including loans and deferment of student loans during the program. After you have been accepted into the program, the UNMC Financial Aid office will be able to assist you. Students who wish to be considered for financial aid must complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA).

Tuition assistance can be used for active duty military. We also participate in the Yellow Ribbon Post 9/11 GI Bill program as well as other financial aid programs.
