The UNMC Diagnostic Cytology program is a leader in Distance Education with students located all over the country.
The main campus in Omaha, NE has 4-6 spots available each year. At our approved satellite sites the didactic content is delivered live, via the web and the application to the microscope is a blend of virtual microscopy and hands-on training at each site with dedicated, experienced clinical instructors.
Applicants – please be aware of possible additional state licensure requirements for cytology professionals in your home state or desired state of employment. If state licensure is required for cytology professionals in the state of one of our satellite sites, a (+) will be added to encourage further investigation at the applicants responsibility.
