Diagnostic Cytology Admissions Requirements
Enrollment in each program is limited and competitive. The admissions committee of each program, composed of program faculty, satellite site representatives, and administration, evaluates the qualifications of each applicant and makes the final selections for admission.
Admission to the Diagnostic Cytology Program requires the applicant to successfully complete the following prior to matriculation:
Required Degree
Applicants must have a bachelor's degree in any field, from a regionally accredited institution prior to Orientation in August. Degrees with a science background are suggested but not required.
Preferences
An overall GPA of higher than 2.8 (on 4.0 scale) at time of application submission.
Computer and/or previous health care experience.

INFORMATION FOR INTERNATIONAL APPLICANTS: The master’s program is in the process of getting approval for admitting international students who require F-1 Visa sponsorship with a form I-20. So, please check with the program faculty before submitting an application.
Time Commitment
For students who work outside of the program, we recommend no more than 10 hours per week, due to the full-time school commitment.
