UNMC offers a program of study that leads to a Master of Physician Assistant Studies (MPAS) degree. The program is offered concurrently on two campuses, UNMC in Omaha and University of Nebraska at Kearney. The instruction is shared and students receive a nearly identical learning experience at both campuses. Students have access to the same, outstanding clinical clerkship experiences regardless of which campus is attended.
Omaha Campus
Since 1973, the University of Nebraska Medical Center Physician Assistant Program has been training PAs at the Omaha campus. The Omaha campus features state-of-the-art facilities including the $53 million Michael F. Sorrell Center for Health Science Education.

Kearney Campus
In 2015, the University of Nebraska Medical Center Physician Assistant Program opened a world-class healthcare education facility in a place that feels like home. This collaboration with the University of Nebraska Kearney helps address current and projected workforce shortages in rural Nebraska. UNK hosts the $19 million Health Sciences Education Complex (HSEC) featuring state-of-the-art collaborative learning spaces and technology.
