Resident Minimum Qualifications:
- Graduate from CAPTE-accredited physical therapy program
- Licensed to practice in the state of Nebraska by August 1st of the application year
- CPR Certification (BLS or equivalent)
- APTA member, APTA Nebraska member, and member of the Academy of Orthopedics
Application Instructions:
Apply online through Residency-Fellowship Physical Therapy Central Application System (RF-PTCAS).
- Create an account in RF-PTCAS, then search for the University of Nebraska Medical Center in the Orthopedic Residency Program Directory
- Required submissions on RF-PTCAS:
- Three letters of reference/recommendation
- Physical Therapy Program Transcript
- Resume/CV
- Answer essay questions
- Additional Interview components:
- Complete Kira Talent interview questions virtually.
- Details will be sent to applicants upon completion of RF-PTCAS application.
- Candidates will be notified if they are selected for live interviews by mid-March.
- Live interviews will be held on campus (or Zoom for those unable to travel) on the first Saturday in April.
- Candidates will be notified of selections by the end of April.
- Complete Kira Talent interview questions virtually.
