ACL-WALK (Walking And Loading after Knee injury) Study

Goal: To determine how physical activity and movement patterns during walking contribute to cartilage breakdown in the knee after ACL injury.

Return To Sport After ACL Injury: Translation to Clinical Outpatient Care

Goal: Determine if passing a clinic-based return-to-sport test battery equates to passing a laboratory-based return-to-sport test battery (i.e. isokinetic dynamometry and 3D motion analysis), and to assess its influence on knee reinjury risk.

Mobile, Biosensor Technology for Measuring Joint-Level Human Motion

Co-Principle Investigator: Eric Markvicka, PhD (University of Nebraska – Lincoln)
Goal: Develop a novel, wearable sensor system that accurately and reliably measures knee joint angles during movement.
