China-U.S. Joint Research Center for Life Sciences

In September 2007, the China - U.S. Joint Research Center for Life Science was founded jointly by UNMC and the Bureau of Life Sciences and Biotechnology of Chinese Academy of Sciences. 

Purpose of center: Conduct an annual joint scientific symposium held at either CAS or UNMC, alternating the location each year, where principal investigators from China and the U.S. will jointly present their research progress.



Fourth Annual Joint Research Symposium:

  • August 7-9, 2012
  • Designed to foster collaboration among UNMC and Chinese investigators
  • Research topics will include inflammation and disease, cancer tumor biology, drug delivery and genetics.
