BHECN Lifelong Learning Fund Video Transcript What if funding for your professional development goals was within reach? It may surprise you to find out that as a student or professional in behavioral health in Nebraska, you may have access to a fund specifically designed to help you grow, learn, and advance in your career. The Lifelong Learning Fund. Here’s who qualifies and what’s covered. The fund supports three categories: student development and training, professional development opportunities, and statewide training events. Whether you’re a student or a provisionally licensed or fully licensed behavioral health practitioner, you can receive funding for conferences, trainings, certifications, and test preparation for licensure exams. Organizations and licensed practitioners can also apply to host a statewide training event, either in person or virtually, focused on expanding clinical skills and improving access to care across Nebraska. Priority is given to applicants serving rural and public sector communities and those pursuing evidence-based training methods. To be eligible, you must be a Nebraska resident, an undergraduate or graduate student, or a licensed behavioral health provider, and you must not have received support through the Lifelong Learning Fund within the past five years. Only one application is allowed per activity. Because when behavioral health professionals have access to better training, communities across Nebraska benefit. Ready to request support?
