Grant to Support Psychology Students at UNK

The University of Nebraska Kearney (UNK) Counseling and School Psychology Department and the Behavioral Health Education Center of Nebraska-Kearney (BHECN) were awarded a sub-award for the AmeriCorps Grant for $126,121.
The funding specifically supports students doing an internship in Rural Nebraska, providing behavioral health services to under-served areas. Through the grant, students receive a living stipend and an educational award while completing their clinical hours for internship.
