Laura Holly, Grants/Project Associate, BHECN
Laura Holly joined BHECN as an intern while studying at the University of Nebraska Omaha, where she graduated with a bachelor's in public health, and a bachelor's in neuroscience in 2016. She became a full-time member of the BHECN team in October 2017.
Laura is skilled in matching student trainees with internship programs supported by grants and BHECN funding. She also helps to coordinate the Project ECHO webinar series, scheduling and hosting the monthly calls. Most recently, Laura has been working on projects for the new Mental Health Technology Transfer Center (MHTTC) grant and assists with coordination of webinars, events and training programs. Laura's attention to details and willingness to go above and beyond to get the job done are part of why she is being recognized for the Silver U Award.
The Silver U Award is given annually to approximately 72 employees whose overall performance is above and beyond the scope of their position. Awardees receive a Silver U pin, a clothing item with the Silver U logo, and an invitation to the Silver U luncheon with Chancellor Jeffrey P. Gold, M.D.
