Refractory Depression

Refractory Depression

About the Webinar Series

Refractory, or treatment-resistant depression, is a condition in which major depressive disorder does not respond to treatment. As many as two-thirds of people with depression aren’t helped by the first antidepressant prescribed, and up to a third don’t respond to several attempts at treatment. What steps can be taken for patients in this situation? This two-part webinar is designed to equip primary care providers with evidence-based treatment strategies to handle this difficult clinical situation.

This activity targets prescribers who treat patients with depression, to include primary care, internal medicine, family practice, psychiatric, and pediatric providers, physician assistants, and nurse practitioners.
