In the state of Nebraska, we do not have enough behavioral health professionals, especially in rural and underserved areas.
BHECN is recruiting for two programs that will train professionals to help meet behavioral health and other healthcare needs (high school diploma or GED required):
- Community Health Workers (CHW)
- Provisionally Licensed Drug and Alcohol Counselors (PLADC)
Students will receive full tuition when they are accepted into the program.
Most programs also provide a free laptop.
