My research interests is in the Clinical Informatics domain within Biomedical Informatics. Integration of informatics to provide the optimum level of patient safety fascinates me. In my current role as an Enterprise Project Manager at Nebraska Medicine, I am involved in leading and managing Information Technology, Healthcare Quality Improvement, Business Process Analysis, and Process Improvement projects. I am exposed to a myriad of technologies and tools capturing patient health information and the processes/policies dictating the flow of information through the organization. I am also motivated by the human factors contributing to the success/failure of adoption of information flow. My research focuses on significantly refining information flow to improve patient care while reducing the cost of managing and sharing information within the healthcare ecosystem.
