Find an expert to speak to your community group
Looking for a speaker for your organization, club, group or classroom? The Fred & Pamela Buffet Cancer Center (FPBCC) Speakers Bureau provides resources to community groups across Nebraska including experts to give presentations on cancer-related topics. The FPBCC faculty and staff volunteer their time to share their interests and expertise with private and public organizations, coalitions, academia and community groups in Nebraska.
Requestors include but are not limited to:
- Community Organizations
- Healthcare Organizations
- Public Health Departments
- K-12 schools and universities
Speakers available range from:
- Cancer care specialists (oncologists, surgeons, radiologists)
- Cancer researchers
- Cancer survivorship specialists
- Social Workers
- Dietitians
We can work with your institution to customize an event that will best suit your interest area(s), including webinars or Zoom-style presentations.
To request and schedule a speaker
If you are interested in having an expert speak at your event, please contact the speaker’s bureau coordinator at least one month before the scheduled event by completing the Request a Speaker form. We welcome suggestions for speakers on topics not listed below. If you do not have a topic in mind, we will work with you to identify topics and speakers pertinent to your groups’ interests and needs.
