Truhlsen Eye Institute Distinguished Lecture Series

The Truhlsen Eye Institute will host a distinguished lecturer each month from October 2020 through May 2021. The visiting speakers are highly accomplished and nationally recognized physicians and researchers from across the country who will share their knowledge and experience with our ophthalmic and optometric medical community. The goal is to improve and make a lasting impact on patient care across all subspecialties of the vision community.


Target Audience

This conference is intended for ophthalmologists, optometrists, researchers, nurses, and other health care professionals.


Lecture Series Objectives

At the conclusion of this lecture series, the participant should be better able to:

  1. Apply new skills in a wide array of subspecialties in ophthalmology
  2. Discuss the management of complications
  3. Describe the purpose and methodology of various procedures
  4. Enhance patient care
