The purpose of the Technology & Common Metrics Committee (TCM) is to accelerate the use of technologies and common metrics for studies focused on patient, family, and community engagement in self-management for chronic conditions in both rural and urban populations
Functions
- Promote use of common metrics in all Center-funded studies.
- Maintain a warehouse of bio-behavioral measures, software, apps, and monitoring equipment.
- Collaborate with campus and other centers (e.g. IT, telehealth experts, computer science, and engineering) to accelerate the use of technologies for studies
- Facilitate creation of data repositories to promote and support research focused on chronic care management.
