Spring 2021 Season
The Spring 2021 season will last 5 weeks. The first 4 weeks of the season will be the "regular season" phase and the final week will be the "postseason" phase, or playoffs. The regular season phase will be composed of 3 weeks of round-robin play + 1 guaranteed BYE week. A team's results during the regular season will determine seeding for the postseason playoffs, a single-elimination tournament. The team that wins the postseason tournament will be awarded the intramural championship t-shirts on the final night of the tournament.
For league play, access to the gym is granted to participants even without a membership.
Equipment will be provided at Center for Healthy Living, although participants are welcome to use their own equipment if they would like.
Campus recreation has implemented measures to insure disinfecting and social distancing protocol is followed in all intramural leagues during the current global pandemic.

Competition in many of the leagues is offered at two separate levels in order to accommodate players of all skill levels. That means that one team will only play other teams who elect to play in the same division. The divisions are described below
How do I sign up?
Captains must create a team through EZLeagues. Once created, they must pay the registration fee at the front desk of the Center for Healthy Living and instruct their teammates to sign up with their team in EZLeagues.
Individuals without a team must sign up through EZLeagues. Once registered, an individual may a) choose to be added to team in need of players OR b) form a new team with other individuals unattached to a team.
Who may participate?
Registration for Intramural Pickleball is open to UNMC/Nebraska Medicine/UNO staff, faculty, students volunteers, retirees, AND the spouse/parents/children (aged 16 or older) of someone who belongs to any of the previously mentioned groups.
In addition, a limited number of individuals who don't belong to any of the previously mentioned groups may participate. The number of non-UNMC/Nebraska Medicine/UNO individuals allowed on a team is subject to sport-specific limitations.
If you encounter any issues, please direct questions to the Campus Recreation Coordinator or to the Center for Healthy Living front desk at 402-559-5254.
