Soccer League Overview
UNMC Intramural Soccer is back by popular demand for our 3rd season at Duchesne Academy of the Sacred Heart's natural grass soccer field (3601 Burt St, Omaha, NE 6813).
Games last 30 minutes total. They will be played 7v7 (6 field players + 1 goal keeper) with two 12-minute halves separated by a 3-minute halftime break.
How do I sign up?
- Captains must 1) create a team through EZLeagues, 2) instruct their teammates to register with that team in EZLeagues, and 3) pay the registration fee at the front desk of the Center for Healthy Living by the registration deadline.
- Individuals without a team must sign up through EZLeagues. Once registered, an individual may a) choose to be added to team in need of players OR b) form a new team with other individuals unattached to a team.
Who may sign up?
Registration for Intramural Soccer is open to UNMC/Nebraska Medicine/UNO staff, faculty, students, retirees, and the spouse/parents/children (aged 16 or older) of someone who belongs to any of the previously mentioned groups.
In addition, individuals who don't belong to any of the previously mentioned groups may participate. The number of non-UNMC/Nebraska Medicine individuals allowed on a team is subject to sport-specific limitations.
In this case, Intramural Soccer teams must be composed of fewer than 50% of non-UNMC/Nebraska Medicine individuals for normal league play.
All league participants must register through EZLeagues.
Participants will not be asked to create an account or password. Simply fill out the relevant information and click submit.
All teams must must pay the registration fee at the front desk of the Center for Healthy Living for their registration to be considered complete!
The registration fee covers all costs associated with the league, including facility access for league participants and spectators for the purposes of scheduled league games. Participants do not need to have a membership to the Center for Healthy Living in order to participate in intramural leagues.
The registration fee must be paid in full at the front desk of the Center for Healthy Living (CFHL) by the registration deadline. Any team that has not paid the registration fee in full by the registration deadline will be responsible for paying a $15 late fee added to the league registration fee.
Refunds for Intramural Leagues are available up to seven (7) calendar days before the first scheduled date of play. No refunds will be given after that point.
