EpicCare® Link and Physician Connect are web-based applications that provide approved clinical research staff with secure, view-only access to select patients’ UNMC/TNMC/Children's electronic medical records. This includes lab results, diagnostic test results, hospitalization records, procedural information, discharge instructions, progress notes, medications, allergies, media files, medical history and more. Study coordinators are able to assign patients to study-specific research groups so that monitors are limited to viewing only relevant study subjects.
The process differs slightly for UNMC and Children’s Hospital & Medical Center, so be sure to follow the correct instructions for each institution.Janet Davis in the Clinical Research Center (CRC). A copy of these forms and complete instructions for submission may be found using the hyperlink above.
