Dr. Ran Dai
I am an assistant professor in biostatistics at University of Nebraska Medical Center. Prior to this, I had my PhD in statistics from the University of Chicago, advised by Rina F. Barber and my PhD in medicinal chemistry from University of Minnesota, Twin Cities, advised by Barry C. Finzel. My main research interest is in high dimensional, nonparametric and shape constrained statistical inference, machine learning and multiple testing. I have 5 years of data analysis experience with projects in: nonparametric statistics, shape constrained regression, FDR control, and collaborations in different applied areas including drug development, clinical trial and geology.
