Division of Student Success Help

You don’t have to do it alone. UNMC is here to help.

The Division of Student Success offers wraparound student support services customized to meet the unique needs of every student.

Disability Accommodation Support

Students do not need to be registered with Services for Students with Disabilities to receive COVID-19 or medical supervision accommodations.

They require a letter or other documentation from the treating provider that states the date(s) or date range(s) supporting the medical care and inability to attend classes, clinical rotations, or field placements. Medical supervision is retroactive, so if the treating provider notates absences for past dates, they can be submitted.

Note: On receipt of valid documentation from a qualified healthcare provider, eligibility and appropriate COVID-19 related accommodations will be determined.

Connect with your Academic Program

Students who have academic concerns associated with COVID-19 should work with their academic program.
