 Speaker Biography: 

Dr. Rutledge earned his Bachelor of Science in Biology and Masters in Secondary Teaching from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. He received his dental degree, completed his residency in periodontics, and received his Masters of Science in Oral Biology from the University of Nebraska Medical Center.

Dr. Rutledge practices full-time at Pioneer Periodontics and Implant Dentistry in Lincoln and is also an adjunct faculty member at UNMC College of Dentistry in the graduate periodontal program.

He is a board certified Diplomate of the American Board of Periodontology and a member of the Academy of Osseointegration, American Academy of Periodontology, American Dental Association, Nebraska Dental Association, Lincoln Dental Association.

He and his wife, Jillian, are proud parents of seven (soon to be eight!) children.  In his free time he enjoys sleeping.

Full Arch Guided Surgery: the Good, the Bad, and the Ugly

Course Description:

Some patients’ dentition may be beyond repair or repair may be unpredictable and exceeding expensive.  In these cases, a reasonable option can be a full-arch fixed restoration.  This course will demystify the treatment planning, digital records, surgery, provisionalization, and final impression of these oftentimes daunting restorations utilizing a 3D printed metal stackable guide.  This digitally driven protocol coordinates implant placement, bone reduction, and prosthetics with a simplified final conversion. Be prepared for your full arch cases to become more predictable and streamlined and therefore more enjoyable and profitable!
