Beginner's Guide to CBCT Interpretation

Course Description:

This course is designed for dentists who are considering to utilize or recently began utilizing CBCT imaging for their practice. The course will focus on the principles of CBCT interpretation to aid the practitioner to develop a healthy interpretation protocol, which is an essential building block necessary in the development of interpretation skill. It will also cover radiographic anatomy and terminology, early signs of pathology and CBCT artifacts. 

An interactive hands-on session will be offered in the afternoon, during which the participants will be trained using multiple clinical cases to emphasize the concepts covered from the morning session. Each participant will be assigned to a computer station and guided through the cases using the Invivo Anatomage software. The afternoon class is limited to 10 participants to facilitate close interaction with the instructor. Participants are encouraged to bring their cases for group discussion and consultation.
