Dr. Adams graduated magna cum laude from Boston University with a degree in Human Physiology. She attended medical school at Jefferson Medical College of Thomas Jefferson University in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. During her medical training, Dr. Adams was inducted into the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society and graduated with honors. She attended Lankenau Medical Center in Pennsylvania for an internship in internal medicine. Dr. Adams completed her dermatology residency at the University of Miami and Jackson Memorial Hospitals in Miami, Florida, where Dr. Adams served as chief resident. She pursued additional training in tropical medicine, earning her Diploma of Tropical Medicine & Hygiene (DTM&H) degree from the American Society of Tropical Medicine and Hygiene.
Dr. Adams is a general dermatologist and is spearheading efforts to create a new teledermatology program as well as developing new Infectious Disease Dermatology clinics at UNMC and Nebraska Medicine. Dr. Adams is thrilled to return and serve patients in her hometown of Omaha. She provides care for the breadth of general medical dermatology and has special interests in complex medical dermatology, tropical and infectious disease dermatology, and teledermatology.
