The uBEATS program is open to UNO students, alums, and community educators interested in advancing science education among grades 6 -12. It is a partnership between UNO and UNMC Academic Affairs (specifically the UNMC Interactive E-Learning Program and the UNMC High School Alliance). With the impact to reach up to 90,000 students, program participants will truly leave their mark on science education.
- $1,000 awarded to teams
Use it for project creation or participant stipends (2 - 4 people per team).
Create content for grades 6 - 12
You'll create e-modules of science curriculum that isn't available in regular courses.
- Type of interactivity is up to you
Make content memorable by incorporating gaming, quizzes ... whatever you want.
