Obiaara Ukah, MD, PhD

Obiarra Ukah, MD, PhD, is a graduate of Lincoln University in Missouri with a Bachelor of Science in biology. She obtained her PhD and medical degree at the University of Missouri in Columbia, Missouri. She then completed her residency in emergency medicine here at the University of Nebraska Medical Center and then followed with the Advanced Emergency Medicine Ultrasonography Fellowship also here, at UNMC. She chose Emergency Medicine due to its variety, unpredictability, and the opportunity to make an immediate difference for patients from all walks of life.
Dr. Ukah serves as the COM POCUS COIL Director and will be leading our medical student POCUS education.
