Emergency Department Basic Science Student Summer Research Program

This position has been filled for the summer of 2022.  Updates for next years research program application dates will be posted soon.

Position Description:

This position will begin by shadowing one lab member to learn physiological, biochemical, and molecular techniques.  Once that is accomplished the individual will need to use these techniques to conduct some experiments designed in our basic and translational projects. She/He will also need to attend all lab research activities, such as lab meetings, discussions regarding research papers, and seminars related the research. At the end of the 10 week program she/he should will present what was learned and accomplished during her/his studies in the lab (the presentation will be attended by the program director).
