Curriculum

The Emergency Medicine Residency program at the Nebraska Medical Center provides a varied and comprehensive education. Variety comes in the different forms of education available: from bedside teaching to reading at home, and everything in between.

The clinical rotations have been tailored with Resident feedback to provide the best educational opportunity for our Residents, including the creation of the Emergency Medicine based Orthopaedics rotation, as well as Emergency Ultrasound. The conference experience has been developed to be more interactive with case conferences and occasional Mega-case days. There is the opportunity to learn rare and critical procedures in our cadaver lab, as well as how to manage critical patients with the simulation lab.

The Emergency Medicine curriculum provides a "road map" the Resident will follow to become an outstanding Emergency physician. For more details follow the links on the left.
