Richfield, MN - College attended and major:
The College of Saint Benedict, Chemistry - Medical school:
University of Minnesota Medical School - Why UNMC:
I chose UNMC because I loved the faculty and residents on my interview day, and my experience with faculty and my co-residents throughout residency has been amazing. It truly feels like my second family here. Also, we are a hybrid program - UNMC is both the county and academic hospital here in Omaha, and we rotate in the community in Bellevue, Nebraska and have rural rotations out in western Nebraska. This hybrid training, and thus the diversity of the patients/pathology that we see, makes us ready for any EM practice after residency. - Interests/Hobbies:
Aggressively attending Ed Sheeran concerts since 2012 (current count = 12), composting/recycling/living a low waste lifestyle, continuing the perpetual quest to find the best pizza in the world (current favorite = Gustapizza in Florence, Italy), riding my Peloton so I can eat more pizza, petting my dog Dante, and strategizing ways to successfully run and win The Amazing Race one day
