UNMC Information Technology Services is home to 120 employees who support a technology environment an expanding research environment, robust educational technologies and a rapidly expanding physical campus.

Get Help / Request Service  
Call the ITS Helpdesk at 9-7700 for phone and computer problems and requests.
NetID and Password  
Your UNMC NetID and password provides access to many campus systems such as email, eServ (Employee Self Service), the campus network and Blackboard for online compliance courses.  Do not share your IDs and passwords with anyone. 
Email at Work and on-the-go  
Email is available from your desktop, the internet and your mobile device.  Up to two mobile devices may be connected.
Off-Campus Access (Secured Remote Access)  
Off-campus access to sensitive information such as patient data and the campus network requires an extra level of security.  This requires you to enter your NetID and password; AND use what is called a grid card. Email access only does not require a grid card.

  • Password protect and encrypt mobile devices
